Feedback loop of evaluation and learning to inform implementation.
Monitoring and evaluation of CSA is critical for tracking progress and adaptively managing programs. However, there are no agreed international metrics or systems for monitoring CSA programs, and institutions use different approaches. P4S carried out capacity needs assessments and developed innovative digital monitoring tools to create harmonized and cost-effective information systems and empower stakeholders in their efforts to maximize the impact of their interventions. M&E is a powerful mechanism for change in two ways: first, it creates opportunities for programmers to build on successes, learn from mistakes and refine their interventions; and, second, it helps ensure better outcomes for farmers.
